Terry Burhans is the announcer and clever sidekick on "The Boomer Show with Brian Christie." Terry brings his wit, wisdom and charisma to every episode of "The Boomer Show." Terry is also a broadcast meteorologist with XETV FOX 6 in San Diego, Ca. He has held a variety of positions in broadcasting in addition to being a meteorologist, he is a writer and program host. He is also an accomplished drummer, guitar and harmonica player. He has been on the air at WMAQ in Chicago, WBRZ in Baton Rouge, and WKYC in Cleveland. He has become a familiar face to San Diego during his nine years on-the-air here. Terry has won seven Emmys. An award he is especially proud of is The John Sweat Excellence in Education award presented to him by the California Teachers Association. He holds a degree in journalism from Louisiana State University. In addition to his duties at Fox6, Terry teaches in the media communication department at Grossmont College. |
